Almost there

Another Productive day. Sam has the two sheds up with roofs on and doors! Its 6pm and he is still out making the nest boxes. I however gave in to the cold. Managed to get 8 of the poultry crated power hosed and they are drying. Will get the other 16 done tomorrow and while they are drying I will traet the first 8 with Poultry Shield. All moving fast now. 2 weeks today I will be collecting at least 150 hens!  Thats 150 that wont be slaughtered! Im still hoping for some more submission forms after talking to a few people today on the phone. Wont close numbers till the last minute. But if you do want some of these beautiful girls, please let me know sooner rather than later.
Tomoorow is Sunday, day of rest........ not in this house, still so much to do.
Once Sam has the nest boxes on we will put up the electric netting and secure the fence so our dogs cant get out, that will mean they can patrol all the gardens and keep any foxes out! I am getting excited and a bit nervous. Managed to borrow a cattle trailer for the day. It will be better than our open trailer and the girls will be better protected from the wind. Maybe one day we will be able to afford to buy our own trailer OR maybe someone will donate one to us....HINT HINT HINT
